Volunteer Policies & Conduct

I agree to follow My Sistah's House volunteer policies, safety rules, and conduct expectations. I understand that harassment, threatening behavior, or violence will not be tolerated and may result in termination of volunteer status.

Volunteer Status

I understand that I am not an employee and will not receive payment, benefits, insurance, or worker's compensation. My volunteer status may be terminated at any time.

Risks & Assumption of Risk

I understand that volunteering involves risks including but not limited to: physical exertion, handling materials/tools, exposure to dust/noise, interaction with others, and potential exposure to infectious diseases. I voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, death, property damage, and other consequences that may result from volunteering, regardless of cause.

Release of Claims

I waive and release My Sistah's House and its directors, officers, staff, volunteers, and affiliates from all liability, claims, and expenses arising from my volunteer participation, including those caused by negligence. I will not sue based on these released claims.

Medical Information & Emergency Care

I am responsible for knowing my physical condition and making my own decision to volunteer. I authorize My Sistah's House to provide first aid and arrange medical care if needed. I am solely responsible for all medical costs and understand no medical insurance is provided.
